The concept of Knightsite began in July 1994.

Knightsite is one of the oldest K of C websites on the

World Wide Web. Knightsite made its Internet debut in

1995. Knightsite has received numerous awards over

the years including The International Council of

Webmasters 2003 Website of the Year Award. In 1997

Knightsite was listed in the Top 40 Catholic Websites in

the World by the Catholic Internet Directory as the #1

Knights of Columbus Website and #15 of all Catholic

Websites in the world. From the very beginning the goal

of Knightsite was to encourage the members and

councils of the Knights of Columbus to use the Internet

as a resource to serve God and to benefit our Church,

our country and our Order.
